Our Story

It all began with the vision of opening up a Luxury Pre-Owned Vehicle Dealership in the Orangeville area; a vision that would hopefully capture a niche in the local market that nobody else was servicing.  Bruce Usselman and his daughter, Jessica (me), opened Orangeville Autosport in November 2007. With just 4 luxury vehicles in stock, the doors were open for business!  Over the years many things have changed, but the fundamentals of the business have remained the same:  honesty, integrity, ridiculously high standards, and a passion for cars have kept the customers coming in and the business growing for a decade now (November 2017 will mark our  10-year Anniversary). The inventory at Orangeville Autosport has evolved over time to keep up with the growing demand – we tested the waters by starting with only 4 high-end vehicles, we now maintain over 65 vehicles representing up to eighteen different brands – the growing demand is what keeps us growing. I work side-by-side with Shane Squirrell, who joined our team in 2012, and in 2016 he became a real ‘member of the family’ when he became my husband. We truly are family-owned and operated!


In the car business, trust is probably the biggest hurdle we must overcome before we can ‘close that deal’. You can find thousands of cars for sale online but you wouldn’t buy one from someone you didn’t trust, right? Well, aside from selling vehicles that are currently in inventory to customers that walk in the door, here at Orangeville Autosport we also do something most other used car dealers wouldn’t dream of doing – we actually source specific vehicles for buyers that already know exactly what they want but either don’t have the time, desire or resources to go and buy it themselves. That’s where we take over. We specialize in buying the best used cars on the market to stock our store with so we decided to offer this expertise as a service: give us your parameters and we bring the perfect car to you. Buying without seeing or test driving a car first is not easy but we take all of the unknowns out of the equation and walk you through the process in great depth so you’re completely comfortable with how we find, present and ultimately buy the car on your behalf. The first time you see and drive it is on delivery day; we are extremely proud of the fact that we have never had an unsatisfied customer. Anything from $10,000 commuter cars to $150,000 sports cars, we’ve sourced them all and have an excellent reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.  Pretty trustworthy, eh?


We like to joke with our customers that buying something from someone who is “in your own backyard” has its advantages: if something ever goes wrong – you know where to find us! But that’s actually a really good point because if you think about it, everyone who works here at Orangeville Autosport lives in the very local area: we do our grocery shopping here, we get gas and coffee at the same places you do. If and when we see you outside of our walls, we don’t want to run and hide because we didn’t take care of you when you were a customer, we want to smile and wave because we know you were happy with the service and car you purchased. We plan to be around for the long haul (we have to be, it’s our livelihood obviously) and we know that’s only possible by gaining and maintaining a reputation for selling great vehicles, the right way and having some laughs while we do it. Yes, we certainly are proud of our A+ Better Business Bureau rating, but what we love to boast about are the reviews that customers post completely on their own accord about their experiences here – those are why we come into work day after day, loving what we do.
